Today, we have become an extension of their team.
Challenge
Miller Legg is an award-winning consulting firm that provides engineering, planning, landscape architecture and urban design, geospatial including surveying, subsurface utility engineering, geographic information systems, and environmental consulting to government and the private sector.
A few years ago, the organization needed to migrate their legacy email systems to Office 365. While they had a few in-house IT staff members, they outsourced the project to our Internos team.
More recently, the company’s IT director left. They needed to decide between hiring an in-house replacement or outsourcing their IT operations. They wanted their then in-house help desk worker to be supported with an in-depth network of IT knowledge.

Solution
The team at Miller Legg reached out to Internos to gain access to our full team of experts. We customized their package to incorporate their in-house help desk support. During their onboarding process, we took multiple assessments to determine what their current IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture was and how we could improve both of them.
We brought in solutions such as remote access to their computers to better handle CAD files that tend to be quite large in file size. Our cybersecurity measures included implementing a VPN, backup and disaster recovery plans.

Over the years we have also taken on their helpdesk support. Miller Legg uses our ticketing system that allows our experts to reach out to theirs to help resolve any issues. We assist them with upcoming technology changes such as the Microsoft 10 changes occurring October 2025, choosing new hardware or software to better support them. We’ve become an extension of the Miller Legg team.
